TransForum facilitates projects that generate knowledge for sustainable agriculture and livable rural areas. The portfolio of projects must be balanced and consistent with the overall programme. A project proposal must:
- indicate the innovative element
- contribute to sustainable agriculture and livable rural areas
- involve cooperation with at least three individual organisations
- involve the practical application of the knowledge to be developed
- indicate how knowledge and the transfer of knowledge will be maintained after the project.
TransForum works on the basis of co-financing. Applications for project support must therefore provide evidence of existing financial commitments.
