General Manager

The General Manager is in charge of daily activities at TransForum. He confers with advisory boards and staff, and keeps in close contact with external stakeholders. He gives account to the Board of Governors.

Project directors

The projects are key at TransForum. They contribute to the transition to a more sustainable agriculture and horticulture. Project directors initiate, direct and support those projects. They facilitate their processes, involve all stakeholders and stimulate the dissemination of knowledge.

Scientific directors

The scientific directors are jointly responsible for the scientific programme. They direct it, coordinate it with other research programmes and guarantee the scientific validity of the programme.

Coordinators scientific projects

For each theme of the scientific programme, a coordinator guards the progress and connection of the scientific projects. The coordinator works closely together with the scientific director of his respective theme.

Business manager

The business manager is responsible for the financial management, project reports and annual accounts. The business manager keeps the management and the Board of Governors well informed of all relevant details of the projects.

Communication manager

Strategic communication and Public relations enable TransForum to communicate about its methods and results. Publicize on methods and results, advise on communication activities by project leaders, organize events, maintain contacts with the press and guide collegues in their press contacts, these are all tasks of the communication manager. Plus the maintenance of this website, of course!

Programme manager and junior programme manager

Initiating, adjusting and evaluating research programmes, disseminating research results and identifying what is important both for science and for industry: linking up various elements is the task of the programme manager. The programme manager also acts as project director of Knowledge projects.

Office manager

The office manager supports the boards, management and staff in all matters that do not directly touch the content of projects. The office manager is the pivot of the organisation.

Metropolitan Agriculture project coordinator

The project coordinator works specifically on the spatial aspects of delta agriculture, i.e. Metropolitan Agriculture.
