What is TransForum

TransForum was a temporary innovation programme that was formed in 2005 by a collaborative venture of research institutes, the government, non-governmental organisations and the private sector. TransForum ceased to exist on 31 December 2010.

TransForum was a collaborative venture directed by a Board of Governors, a Supervisory Board and various advisory boards. A small bureau was responsible for the coordination and direction of the various projects under the responsibility of TransForum. By means of "innovative practical projects", "knowledge projects" and "scientific projects", TransForum conducted a wide range of research and experimentation of new more sustainable agricultural practices together with other parties. These projects have now been completed.
